UIT University (UITU) is established vide The University Act, 2017 of Government of Sindh. The University is the culmination of thirty years of progressive and successful operation of the Usman Institute of Technology. Currently, the programs are offered in the four departments namely, Engineering, Computing Sciences, Management Sciences and Engineering Technology. In order to support these departments with the humanities, basic and natural science courses, a full-fledged Social Sciences department is also functioning.

It has so far produced more than 5,000 Engineers, IT Professionals, Computer Scientists and Software Engineers who are playing active role in the overall development of economy within Pakistan and abroad. It has over 1,500 active students and over 170 employees. Located in the heart of Karachi’s education hub on main University Road, the institution welcomes students on merit from different class of society.

In order to intensify the existing strength of the faculty base, the UITU is looking for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers meeting HEC’s eligibility criteria in the following disciplines:

These are Karachi-based teaching positions with primary role of teaching, research and publications. The selected candidates are expected to also undertake academic service, student counseling / mentoring and supervising projects. All teaching positions report to the Chairperson and / or Coordinator.
